Although the penetration of Internet enabled smartphones and 3G connected tablets is growing fast, adoption is not uniform across the population, and in any case the utility of a large screen for easy and efficient access to online content and services shouldn’t be underestimated. This is especially evident in a range of customer self-service scenarios, where well designed applications coupled with a large touch screen interface can deliver great outcomes.
